Under the dynamic leadership of the then 28 year old Old Springdalian, Dr. Jyoti Bose, supported by veteran and handpicked staff from the other branches at the time (EPN1, EPN2, Kirti Nagar) such as Mrs. Veena Dhawan (Kirti Nagar), Mrs. Vijaya Parthasarthy (Pusa Road), Mrs. Kamal Khurana and Mrs. Asha Khanna – the task to educate children of the newly expanding South Delhi, filled with a burgeoning population in the midst of an era of Globalization, gentrification and international aspirations began.
